These lamps are ideal for applications where efficiency is critical, although larger multi-lamp systems can be
bulky and challenging to maintain.

2,Medium Pressure lamps deliver a polychromatic output across a broad spectrum. This adaptation is beneficial to match the sensitivity of specific target organisms, though they exhibit a lower energy efficiency of approximately 15%. However, their high power, ranging from 1kW to 24kW, combined with a compact form, allows for fewer lamps within a smaller reactor space.
